Game Day Recipes: Week 11 - BBQ Chicken Dip

A good dip is a necessity for every great football party. Our BBQ chicken dip is guaranteed to be a hit. Sweet, savory and creamy ingredients are blended in perfect balance and heated until the mixture is soft and bubbly.
The ingredients are shown above: 2 large cooked chicken breasts (diced), 3/4 cup BBQ sauce, 1 cup ranch dressing, 2 (8 oz.) packages of cream and 1 cup shredded cheese.
In a medium saucepan, warm the chicken and BBQ sauce (I used Uncle Kenny's Original). Stir until mixed thoroughly.
Add both packages of cream cheese and the ranch dressing. Continue fold in the cheese until it's blended.

Transfer the chicken and cheese mixture to a baking dish. Top with the shredded cheese. I also added some dried parsley flakes. Bake @ 400 degrees for about 15 minutes. The cheese should be fully melted and the edges should be just starting to bubble.

Serve the dip warm with crackers or tortilla chips. This dip is sweet and mild, but you can add a little spice with diced jalapenos. You can also use a hot BBQ sauce if want a little more heat. This dip will disappear quickly. If you're entertaining more than 6 people, I recommend doubling the recipe.
